ABOUT

Jackie Wright

Jackie Wright, Social Justice Programs Manager, has been a part of our Social Justice team since 2017. Brought here by Foundry’s music, preaching, and social justice focus, she has been attending Foundry since 2011.

Jackie grew up in both England and Vienna, VA and studied music at Miami University in Ohio and Florida State University. Before coming to Foundry, she explored many fields, including teaching and recording music, massage therapy, teaching yoga and meditation, and being a preschool teacher.

She is driven by a desire to help those less fortunate than herself. Jackie’s passions include racial and environmental justice and loving those around her to the best of her ability. She is especially proud of the growth of the ID Ministry, including spearheading a several-year initiative to digitize the process.

When she’s not working, Jackie loves to sing, travel, enjoy the outdoors, and spend time with her family and friends.

Jackie lives in Alexandria, VA with her daughter Josie, partner Eddie, dog Ziggy, and their rescue tortoise and guinea pig.
